I’m a life-long Tiger fan, transplanted from Detroit to San Francisco in 2000. Attended my first game in the summer of ‘84; was lucky enough to attend both 2006 playoff games in Oakland (A’s / Raider fans enjoyed pouring beer on me). I still try to follow as many Detroit sports as I can — I’m a University of Michigan football season ticket holder and enjoy discussing the current Lion backup quarterback situation. My father, brother in law & I now have an annual spring training trip that helps fuel my Tiger fascination. I have no background in writing and much of what I write is purely opinion… but thats the name of the game…
